Future Emmy winner (and 2012 nominee) Aaron Paul, come on down …

Watch this awesome clip from a 1998 taping of ‘The Price Is Right,’ courtesy of Thursday night’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jay Leno. Paul, and the rest of the general public, hadn’t seen this since the original air date. Bob Barker just loves his fighting spirit. Bitch.

First Gus Fring on Sesame Street, now Pinkman on a game show?

1998 Aaron Paul is about as jacked up as Jesse Pinkman.

Who delivers the better “bitch?” Is it Bob Barker during his fighting cameo in Happy Gilmore or Jesse Pinkman on the regular in ‘Breaking Bad.’

Had that been Jesse Pinkman and not pre-BB Paul, it would have been terrific to hear him say “The price is wrong. BITCH.”

“You’re the man, Bob … you’re my idol!”

Nice transition from that guy to this suave Emmy winner:

If you’re curious, Paul discussed his winnings on TPIR with The Huffington Post back in 2010. He made it all the way through to the Showcase Showdown. Then the sad trombone hit.

How far did you make it on ‘The Price Is Right’?
Oh, I made it to the Showcase Showdown. Yeah, I was pretty proud of myself, but I made it to Showcase Showdown, and I was going against a woman who was in the Marines, and I bid $132 over. So I lost, and she went over as well, so neither of us won anything.

But you were so close! You almost won both showcases!
I know! I was bidding on a whole Apple computer set-up, $1000 in cash and a brand new Camaro. And I bid $26,500, and it was like $26,368 … it’s so funny that I remember that.

Are you haunted by that number now?
(Laughing) I think I might be a little haunted by it. I was truly devastated by it. But my buddy Braeden stayed for the next show, and he ended up winning the Showcase Showdown. He won trips to Fiji, London and New Orleans, and he took me to New Orleans with him, so that was good.
